I am still facepainting. Just so you know.

I’ve done some fun stuff over the last 4 months.  I even took pictures of some of it.  Why didn’t I blog about any of it? Why did I leave my website looking as though I went to Samoa and decided to stay there and become a beach bum?

I got back from Samoa with a humungous file of pictures I took.  I painted a remarkable number of floral arm designs and tribal tattoo style eye designs at the Blues Festival.

I made an attempt to sort them out and decide which ones to upload, but it was a little overwhelming. So I procrastinated. Then I started getting some fun Christmas jobs, which I also wanted to blog about and had some photos of, but I knew I had to do the Samoa one first, since I’d said I would, so I procrastinated some more. Then I decided to renovate my house…  By the time the school year started again the delay was just embarrassing and I was avoiding my blog the way you avoid that obnoxious coworker at the company Christmas do.

In the end I deleted most of the photos and just kept a few of the people I spent time with and/or the paintings I liked best.  So, I’m a space cadet, sue me.

This is Erica Sunshine Lee, my gorgeous girl from Georgia.  Her song Walk of Shame cracks me up.   The art is the logo from her latest album.

And the lovely Gail Ludlow from Riverhead Slide with flowers to match her dress.

And me and Megz, relaxing and listening to the music… oh, and drinking cocktails. I’m sure there was some of that too.
